I ENJOY applying this sunscreen; that's something new for me. It has real ease of application (there's no tugging at my skin), and melts right in. Also, it doesn't leave a white cast. That being said, I have a fair complexion. I do like the bit of mineral sunscreen glow\finish once it sets. I have not escaped this, to one degree or another, from any mineral sunscreen I've used, but again, I like the Biossance finish. And, it adds extra moisture, which my skin is happy for as we move to colder weather.
This is the best mineral sunscreen I have tried. My only con is that if you re-apply your sunscreen multiple times a day (as you should) you do start to see a slight white cast as a woman of color.
I have sensitive, dryer skin and live in super hot and sunny Phoenix. I have tried so many high end and drug store mineral or sensitive-friendly sunscreens and am usually disappointed with the texture it white cast left behind. Not so with this sunscreen! It is completely invisible, melts into skin right away and never leaves that sunblock sting! It is moisturizing but not oily. Highly recommend!
I liked this SPF because it is reed safe and because chemical sunscreens would break me out. While I haven’t had many breakouts due to this sunscreen I did want to mention that it still leaves a slight white cast on the face. Way less than others but it doesn’t go away until it’s feel a couple hours and has been absorbed by the skin. I’m Hispanic but I’m considerably lighter than most So if I was able to see it in me, idk how foolproof it might be for tan and darker skin tones. Overall not bad but was expecting less white cast!
Unfortunately, I have had an allergic reaction to this new formulation. It makes my skin itchy. Yesterday I decided to wear it even though I knew I had to put on a mask for an hour or so, and when I got home, my cheeks were so itchy that today I have red splotches where the sunscreen had been applied. The old formulation worked great on my skin. Without a mask, this stuff makes my skin mildly itchy, but clearly I have to throw it away since I've had this more severe reaction. So sad since I really loved the old formulation.
