Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that can fight free radicals, visibly brighten, reduce the appearance of pigmentation, and boost the skin's firmness. You can spot vitamin C on an ingredient label in a few different forms. It may be listed as any of these: magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, L-ascorbic acid, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, ascorbyl palmitate, ascorbyl glucosamine, and ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate.

It's actually rose absolute, not rose essential oil so it is solvent extracted.

Gently press a few drops of Vitamin C Rose Oil onto clean skin morning and night. Use the Vitamin C oil after your serum and moisturizer to lock in long-lasting hydration. You can also add a drop or two to your foundation for extra dewy coverage.

Breakout City
I was really excited about this product because of all the great reviews, but unfortunately, it made my skin break out fairly badly after just one use! I had not introduced any other new products to my skincare regime in a while nor changed my diet, so I am certain this was the culprit. I developed deep pimpled on my lower cheeks, which is unusual for me as my acne is normally hormonal and therefore limited to my chin. If you are also prone to breakouts, I would consider looking elsewhere or buying the travel size, as I did, to risk wasting only $32 instead of $72.

A Must Have
I received this product complimentary for testing purposes. After opening the oil, the first thing that immediately caught my attention was the smell of roses in a bottle. It smelled so delicate and rich. After applying it on, the oil was not thick or unpleasant, it glided smoothly and with only two droplets, I felt like it was more than enough. So I added the oil towards the end of my night time routine—and I only put it for night time because it would look too oily for the daytime—and with only several nights of applying it, I could tell the difference on my skin. My pores seemed smaller and my skin was firmer and most importantly for me, the wrinkles under my eyes were gone. I work six days a week and most of time, I am sleep deprived, causing slight lines under my eyes and the oil hydrated under my eyes so well that it made me look like I had gotten days of sleep. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to lock moisture at night to look plump and refreshed the next day.

Won't Know Until Cooler Weather
Because my skin is oily/combo. & prone to breakouts, I was advised by the Clean Beauty Team to hold off on using this product until autumn into winter . . . I live in an area that is very hot and humid in the summer, and my skin's need for hydration is reduced in these months - but once the weather gets cooler, My skin will be a tad drier and I'll give this product a try then - Thanks !

Great Texture
I’m no stranger to squalane oil, so I feel I can speak to the uniqueness of this particular one. The texture is lovely - it sinks in much faster than others I’ve tried. The scent is very light and goes away quickly, so the fragrant oils are not in a high concentration that results in skin irritation (which I can be prone to). I’ve been using this in conjunction with the other vitamin C serum from Biossance and I’m starting notice some pigmentation fading. I chose this particular oil and vitamin C serum from Biossance because I needed a vit. c formula that would not clog my pores. I’m happy to report I’ve not had any breakouts since I started using these — I will definitely be repurchasing!

Too 'oily' for me
Nice oil with low scent. Did not absorb as quickly as I would like, so I had to postpone going to bed to keep from getting pillow oily.

Amazing 🤩

Amazing product!
I received this as a complimentary product to try out. For a few weeks I have been using it mainly at night and my skin seems to love it. This is the second Biossance product I try and I was not disappointed. I apply it at night after my moisturizer and in the morning my skin feels so soft. I have noticed a reduction on my texture and my complexion looks brighter.
