OhDARN!

Well I have the squalane & vitamin C rose oil and I love it. I thought I would love this also, but the smell is awful. It doesn't smell anything like roses. My daughter says it smells like old chocolate, for me it smells really bad. I have loved all the products I've tried , but I will pass on this one unless the smell changes. I Can't even put it on my face not really sure what to do with it.

Nice texture!

Look at how we have evolved! It took almost a month before I could have a true opinion on this moisturizer as there are only 3 that I trust in this entire world. I’m not joking at all. This is a possible 4th. It has a beautiful jelly cream like texture that’s incredibly light. This moisturizer works amazingly well after applying the Biossance squalene oil. There are a few face oils I use and this moisturizer doesn’t work well with them because my skin experiences an uncomfortable tingling sensation. Considering that I live in Florida, keeping the skin moisturized is important and this does just that. I realized that I can only use it at night time since the products then are anti aging even though this is a squalene vitamin C mix. During the day time skincare routine I have a lot going on and it consists of products that clash with the ingredients. I am a heavy calamine, rice, Cica, oat, snail and lemon mask user with many of them having toners that match. The skin can only take and absorb so much before it purges. A pleasant night time moisturizer is what this is for me and a little goes a long way.

Fair

I have been using the oil for several months and love it so that’s the reason I decided to try the moisturizer. It’s okay but I’m a bit disappointed in that it leaves my skin a bit greasy looking. I want a moisturizer which soaks in and leaves a more matte finish. Since purchasing this product I also purchased the omega in the green jar and I like it very much.

An odd smell

I like how the cream feels and performs however there is an odd smell to it. A bit musty and unpleasant. Disappears quickly but I won’t be buying this one again.

The Goldilocks of biossance moisturizers

I’ve consistently used biossance products for over two years, and as a product junkie, that’s saying something! That said, I’ve really wanted to love the gel moisturizer and the cream, but living in Houston with tons of humidity and back and forth weather, I either felt like I wasn’t getting enough moisture or too much. I often used the cream at night and the gel during the day. This one is just right! It’s the first product I’ve tried in a long time where I noticed an immediate difference. My skin is brighter and more refreshed in the morning when I wake up. My skin is so soft and comfortable all day and I believe I’m getting the same, if not better, results as I do from the vitamin c serum. I alternate prescribed retinol and the lactic acid serum at night and this moisturizer has interacted well with both. Can’t recommend this moisturizer enough! The lactic acid and now this are my biossance holy grails!
