4. DOES THE ROSE VEGAN LIP BALM CONTAIN SOY OR SOY EMULSIFIERS? IS YOUR GLYCERIN SOURCED FROM SOY?
Our Linoleic Acid is derived from Soybean. Also our Glycerin comes from many vegetable sources and one of those vegetables is commonly soybean and/or corn. (like all vegetable derived glycerin, so if she uses other products with it and is ok... she should be ok as these are derivatives and not whole soybean.
5. WHEN DOES THIS EXPIRE?
Rose Vegan Lip Balm is best used within 12 months after opening.
6. IS THIS ROSE LIP BALM FRAGRANCE FREE?
No synthetic fragrance or essential oils are added, so it is completely fragrance free. The ingredients themselves do emit a mild scent that should dissipate a minute or two after application.

Can also be used on cheekbones, eyebrows and mixed with sunscreen for protected lip balm.

Holy Grail Product
I have never used a lip balm that actually works and does what it claims to until this beauty! Hands down a forever place held in my skincare stash. My lips are so hydrated and the “lip wrinkles” are totally fine after a week of use. It isn’t horrid and sticky and has a feel of water as it sits on the lips. Beautiful, grad A product!

Long lasting and effective
This ‘chapstick’ really does what it says. It immediately plumps lips (which looks good on everyone, regardless) and hydrates. It’s a firm gel, so you only need to rub your finger across the top and apply it to your bottom lip and rub them together. I only apply it maybe three times a day - but only because I either don’t drink water and this am dehydrated, or I drink extra water and thus rub it off on the glass right away. (It sinks in, but I never wait.) Because it’s firm and you only need an unnoticeably small amount, the container lasts a *long* time. It’s worth every penny. I’ve been using some sort of lip balm constantly for ten years or more. I bought this because not only is it vegan and ethical, but it does more than make your lips shiny or greasy or waxy. It actually helps hydrate and heal them so they do the job they are meant to. Plus it makes them look even healthier. There is no taste, no smell, and my very sensitive skin didn't have any negative reactions to it. 10/10 I recommend it to everyone - even strangers.

Nice as a gloss, not so great as a balm.
I've been using this for at least a month now and have found that this is my go to when I do my make-up... I'm not big on lipstick so the fact that this plumps and provides s hint of shine is perfect for me. Thst being said, im not finding that my lips are any more nourished or softer... in fact I get a bit of chopping and even currently have a small cut across my bottom lip thst seems to be from dryness. This leads me to believe that there isn't a lot of moisturizing going on or at least it's not penetrating enough. Also, this doesn't really have a smell or taste, maybe a very mild rose, but I notice if I dont wipe the inside of my lips after I apply it it wanders into my mouth and burns my throat. So, all in all I love this as a lip gloss but not as a lip balm.

Lip Balm

The best lip balm I have EVER tried!
This is the most moisturizing lip balm I have ever tried. It is a great consistency, keeps your lips moist for hours (even through eating and drinking) and keeps your lips looking plump and juicy! I will definitely repurchase.

Wanted it to work for me...
For two years I have been a solid Biossance user and fan, and I was so excited that they were coming out with a lip balm. Unfortunately, I had a different experience than many other reviewers. I give the balm 2 stars for the texture, smell and size - yes, some would say $18 is a lot for this balm, but I've seen other comparable clean balms come in much smaller jars. When I put it on, it feels amazing. But I find myself needing to reapply frequently because my lips quickly feel dry.
