Lightweight

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is a great lightweight moisturizer for the summer or if you have oily skin. I prefer a cream that gives deeper moisture to the skin because my skin still felt a bit dry after applying this moisturizer. I didn't notice any major changes to my pores, but it does feel soothing and helps a bit with redness. I would have liked a different type of packaging where I don't have to dip my fingers into the cream.

Not for sensitive skin

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I received this product complimentary from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This moisturizer feels very luxurious packaging wise, as it has some weight and is quite aesthetically pleasing. I really like the texture of this moisturizer as well, it is more of a thin consistency, which works well with my oily combination skin. There is a slight scent to this product, but it didn’t bother me too much. The main issue I had with this product is when I initially applied it, it left my skin feeling slightly uncomfortable. It wasn’t necessarily burning or irritating, but I could feel my face get a little warm when applied. The sensation went away after a few minutes, but it still was not the most pleasant feeling. I liked how my skin felt afterwards, as it felt very hydrated and soft. However, I noticed a few new breakouts on my skin while using this product. This happens to me with many new skincare products, so I wasn’t too surprised. If my skin reacted better though to this product, I’m sure I would have used it often, but I’m not sure if I want to continue use due to these issues.

Not For My Sensitive Skin

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I am so glad I tested the Biossance Squalane + Probiotic Balancing Gel Moisturizer on my arm before putting this on my face! Despite the claim that this is good for sensitive skin, even on my elbow, it started to burn almost immediately and ended up developing a mild rash the next day. This is a HARD pass from me. To be fair, my skin is so sensitive it develops a rash if I wear chemical sunscreen or brush my teeth with a fluoride toothpaste. If you have extremely sensitive skin like me, don’t leave your Vanicream or Cetaphil for it. But, if you have normal skin and are looking for a clean product to try, you might have some luck with this. Thank you Influenster and Biossance for sending me a complimentary product in exchange for an honest review!

Lightweight moisturizer

I really enjoyed the cooling lightweight feeling when I rubbed it in my skin. I have very sensitive skin and it worked wonders in my irritated skin. It’s worth trying.

Great moisturizer for multiple concerns

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Living in the north where it’s cold, my face goes from standard oily skin to now congested and combination. I’m excited to try this moisturizer because I hate thick, greasy creams but need something that’s powerful. I love that it feels weightless with its gel formula, and it certainly did help keep my skin balanced without getting too dry or oily quickly. While I liked this moisturizer, I am not in love and feel like I need a little something else on my face. I think pairing it with the rest of the products from the same line may have a better lasting effect, because the moisturizer alone didn’t create a dramatic difference in my skin.

Okay at hydrating

This moisturizer was just okay for me. The first few hours of wear left my skin feeling hydrated, however; after a few hours it felt dry and I don’t have very dry skin at all.

Lightweight

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have combination skin that skews oily in the summer and dry in the winter. This moisturizer is lightweight and plays nicely under makeup. It’s a little too light for my wintertime skin, but I look forward to using this in the summer for a fresh boost of hydration. There is no discernible scent and caused no irritation or breakouts.

Great Gel Moisturizer!

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I prefer a gel moisturizer so I was super excited to test this out! It looks and feels a bit thicker than what I’m used to, but melts into the skin perfectly. My skin barrier is damaged at the moment due to dry weather and I don’t believe this moisturizer is helping repair it as it sometimes stings a bit, but doesn’t seem to be worsening anything!

I love a good gel moisturizer and am glad to have been able to try this! I use a probiotic cleanser so this feels like a good complement to maintain my skin. It smells great and is not too heavy, love the texture!
