1. HOW DOES THE AMINO ACID COMPLEX REMOVE MAKEUP?
We use a specific lipo-amino acid that breaks down and dissolves makeup and impurities so they can then be rinsed away.
2. SHOULD I USE THIS ON WET OR DRY SKIN?
Apply to wet skin to lather the cleanser’s gel texture into a satisfying foam.
3. DOES IT HAVE A SCENT?
Yes. Amino Aloe Gentle Cleanser’s cleansing ingredients do have a natural, refreshing herbal scent. It’s important to note that this scent belongs to the ingredients themselves and is not an added fragrance.
4. IS THE PACKAGING RECYCLABLE?
The bottle contains PCR and is recyclable. Simply discard the pump, then rinse the bottle, remove the label, and recycle in the appropriate bin.
Mix a small amount with warm water and work into a lather. Massage it onto face for at least 30 seconds, then rinse clean.

Bring back the jelly cleanser, this one is awful
Please bring back the jelly cleanser. It was a great makeup remover and cleanser. This new cleanser does not remove makeup at all, dries out skin, causes breakouts and smells strong. In a bad way. I use only Biossance skincare products but now will have to go looking for a new cleanser as I will not buy this again

So soft and smooth. Wow!
I rarely write reviews…but I am dropping in to say this is cleanser really makes a difference. My skin is so soft and the pores refined. I love the fresh scent. I used to think that a cleanser couldn’t possibly improve the skin, since it spends such a short time on the face. Boy, was I wrong. My skin glows. Customer for life!

Not gentle — Leaves skin burning red
I used to use the jelly cleanser and it was the only cleanser that kept my skin clear, removed makeup, and didn't over-dry my face. I bought this as a replacement. The first time I used it, it was okay. My skin felt tight but I figured I could live with it since I always moisturize right out of the shower. Every time since, I leave the shower with tight, dry skin ranging from uncomfortable to burning red (so much so my BF pointed it out two hours later). I had similar experiences trying other cleansers from Biossance and other brands before they introduced the jelly cleanser, which is really the only cleanser that ever agreed with my skin. Unfortunately I have two bottles of this stuff that I can't use now. I won't be buying another cleanser from Bioassance which is too bad as I've shopped here exclusively since 2018 :(

Caused Rash
I unfortunately had a bad reaction to this cleanser. I ended up with a red rash around my mouth (like other users have experienced) and under my nose, in addition to sporadic acne. I normally do not have sensitive skin and have never had acne issues before. I have loved all other Biossance products I've purchased, but this one was a huge miss for me.

Bummer...
I am a HUGE fan of all of Biossance products. I've literally tried all of them, and loved each one until I came upon this cleanser. I ordered this to replace the Jelly cleanser that they discontinued, and at first, all seemed well - like the scent, and the lather is rich and and feels cleansing. However, after increasing my use of it after completely running out of the last Jelly cleanser I had, I ended up with the same rash (red and burning around the corners of my mouth) and spontaneous acne that many others have described on here. :( To put things in perspective, I am in my 40's and haven't had a single pimple in well over 15 years until I used this cleanser more regularly. I'll still be using all my other Biossance products, but won't be reordering this one...hopefully the acne clears up soon! Biossance - PLEASE bring back the jelly elderberry cleanser - it was my favorite!

This is one of my favorite cleansers! The scent is very light and fresh and the texture us quite satisfying. I use it in a double cleanse and it cleans my face really well no matter what makeup i have on that day. Highly recommend!

Amazing product
I recently tried a sample size of the Squalane Amino Aloe Gentle Cleanser and I am blown away by the results! This gel made my pores look amazing and most cleansing products just enhance the size of my pores. This made my skin soft and so clean with just a small amount of product. 10 out of 10 and I am so happy I finally found a cleanser for ME! I will only use this from now on. I use coconut oil too but this is my new everyday product.
