Love this! But it’s really small!
5 stars for how much I love this sunscreen. I was shocked when it arrived because it is much smaller than the former sunscreen that Biossance made. I thought I was sent a sample by mistake! I have fair skin and only applied one time for 5 hours and no burn. Soaked into the skin nicely without leaving my skin sticky and white like most mineral sunscreens. Just wish it was bigger.

Miss the old formula
I found the new formula to be really sticky on my skin after application. It wasn’t as dewy as the old one, but it blends in well enough. But the sticky feeling is really unpleasant and I can’t justify paying the price for what it is. Really wish they could make the old formula available, it was hands down my favorite sunscreen ever and I even bought some second hand after they discontinued it..

New sunscreen
I prefer the previous sunscreen formula. With the new formula it creates little balls/rolls when I rub it on. I have tried it on top of a light moisturizer or right after washing face, and it still makes little rolls. Makes me suspicious it might not work if it rubs off. Any suggestions?

Prefer the previous formulation
The previous formula seemed lighter and easier to apply. I liked the larger tubes in which it came as well. This new formula seems thicker and heavier but I'll continue to use it and see how it goes. I never had a problem with the previous formula.

Almost as good as the previous one!
I loved the previous formulation of this sunscreen. It protected and gave me a lit-from-within glow that made makeup superfluous. This one is nearly as good. It's a little creamier (the previous one was a little oilier), and doesn't give exactly the same amazing effect, but it's close enough for me to prefer this to any other sunscreen I have tried. Additionally, I have very sensitive skin, and this doesn't irritate it at all. All things considered, a winner!

Such a Bummer
I LOVED the old formula. Not only has the price doubled, but this one pills. I’m so bummed, I spent years searching for the perfect sunscreen, and the old one was discontinued with no notice. I waited a year for the new one, and I’m completely disappointed. It does seem to work as sunscreen, but it’s definitely not worth the price. If this one comes way down in price, then maybe I would re-purchase for no makeup days only, as it doesn’t layer well. Biossance used to have much better deals and sales as well. Le sigh. We knew them when.

Nothing Non-Greasy About This
I loved the old formula but, yes, if you used too much it could leave a white cast (because… zinc), so I was ready to embrace this new formula. Unfortunately, as other reviewers have stated, this does not work well with skincare (all Biossance for me) or makeup (it pills horribly), it's very greasy, feels heavy, it often irritates my skin (making it a little puffy and itchy in heat), and it takes so much to get real protection that I often burn through it. I would give a lot for the old formula to be offered as an option.

I miss the old formula :(
This new formula is much thicker and feels greasier. It pills on my skin when I apply it and just doesn't seem to play nice with my moisturizer (also biossance). Very sad! Seems to do the job though, and at least it's not breaking me out.
