I received this Biossance vegan pro-peptide lip perfector as a complimentary sample. I am in love! It comes in a squeeze tube and looks like a lip gloss, similar to a juicy tube. However, this is so much better! The consistency is smooth and there is absolutely no sticky feeling from the balm, but it looks almost like a lip gloss. There is a delicious shea smell to the balm and it is so hydrating! I love that is has ingredients like squalane since it's known for smoothing out skin. My lips looked more nourished and plumper with the sheer pop of berry tint. It really made a big difference in the appearance of my lips and gave me a nice pop of color without having to wear lipstick or liner. My lips feel so soft with this balm. I really did not need to use much to get a shine and it spread out very easily, but also stayed put. Overall, I am really satisfied and would definitely recommend this lip balm!

Actually stays on your lips
After using this lip balm for the past few weeks I can easily say this has become one of my favorites. The smell is like a light hint of vanilla. I'm not a fan of strongly scented lip balms but this one is great. As for the texture, it is thick enough to stay on your lips for a long period of time but not so thick that it is uncomfortable or goopy. My hair did not stick to my lips. It also has a nice amount of slip when you rub your lips together and it is definitely not sticky or tacky. It's very moisturizing. I have been using this exclusively for the last two weeks and my lips are very hydrated. The only con I would say is the colour. I love the colour out of the tube but it really isn't present or pigmented on the lips unless I put a ton on. I would like to see some more colour options in the future hopefully with a little more pigment. Otherwise, I would recommend this lip balm.

It glides on nicely without any tugging. It deposits a light wash of colour with a glossy lip look. The gloss part is not long wearing but my lips are left soft and smooth when it does wear off. And I enjoy reapplying. It's got a mild vanilla scent which I love. Overall, fave lip balm! I would repurchase.

I like that this feels in between a lip balm and a lip gloss. The purple shade I got is pigmented enough to give a pop of color, yet sheer enough to be subtle. There are also tiny sparkles that give subtle glam as well. The sparkles can be felt, but they're quite small and not bothersome. Great ingredients for your lips, just a flush of color
This lip balm feels very hydrating. It's not too sticky. It's supposed to have a vanilla scent but I can barley detect that. This is also to have a plumping effect but I don't really see that. I got the Blush Quartz color which is light pink. This isn't very pigmented on color but rather leaves just a hue of pink. I would consider this simply a good moisturizing lip balm with a gentle wash of color, that has great ingredients such as peptides, squalene and a ton more! Apart from these amazing ingredients, not much more stood out to me about this product compared to other lip balms on the market today.
