1. WHERE DOES YOUR 100% SQUALANE COME FROM? WHY SUGARCANE AND NOT OLIVES?
Traditionally Squalane was harvested from shark liver, though our scientists spent years developing pure Squalane from 100% plant-based, renewable sugarcane. The quality of Squalane produced from olives depends on unreliable factors like weather and crop growth. The quality and purity of our sugarcane Squalane is stable and cost effective.
2. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SQUALANE AND SQUALENE?
The human body produces SqualEne. Squalene is part of our skin's own natural moisture, but the amount made and retained in your skin decreases over time. Our Squalane is a hydrogenated version of Squalene which makes it more suitable for sensitive skin. 3. WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 100% SQUALANE OIL AND SQUALANE + VITAMIN C ROSE OIL? DO I NEED BOTH?
While they both contain super hydrating Squalane, our Vitamin C Rose Oil also contains...(you guessed it!) Vitamin C and rose essential oil, making it suitable for facial use. Our 100% Squalane Oil can be used head-to-toe as an all-over body, face and hair hydrator.
Squalane Oil For Face: Rub a small amount of pure squalane oil together between hands to warm. Pat gently onto face, neck and décolleté.
Squalane Oil For Body: Massage a few pumps onto skin immediately after showering, paying close attention to areas needing extra hydration like arms, legs, and knees.
Squalane Oil For Hair: Rub a small amount of pure squalane oil between hands and smooth through dry or wet hair to add shine and tame flyaways, split ends and frizz.

Nice light oil
Good. Absorbs well and not too heavy. I use it in place of my normal lotion or add a pump to my usual body lotion. Also tried on face and hair with no issues. Not too greasy.

Simply Amazing
I absolutely love the 100% Squalane Oil. I use it as my last layer over all of my products. I use the steps that Biossance has provided on their website. It works. My skin has never looked better. I was using another high-end product for 15 years and I was thinking of a change as the products seemed heavy for my skin, as I aged. I saw Biossance through a Reese Witherspoon advertisement and tried the Rose Oil and Squalane first. Then I added all of your products beyond that. There is not one that I have not tried. I am always going to use Biossance because my skin shows how great it is. I will send samples to my family and friends because that is how I began with your products. Thank you for making such quality products!

Best for sensitive, dry skin
I started using this oil when I was pregnant, and developed severe dry skin in my third trimester, and I have not turned back for the past 2.5 years!
