1. WHERE DOES YOUR 100% SQUALANE COME FROM? WHY SUGARCANE AND NOT OLIVES?
Traditionally Squalane was harvested from shark liver, though our scientists spent years developing pure Squalane from 100% plant-based, renewable sugarcane. The quality of Squalane produced from olives depends on unreliable factors like weather and crop growth. The quality and purity of our sugarcane Squalane is stable and cost effective.
2. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SQUALANE AND SQUALENE?
The human body produces SqualEne. Squalene is part of our skin's own natural moisture, but the amount made and retained in your skin decreases over time. Our Squalane is a hydrogenated version of Squalene which makes it more suitable for sensitive skin. Additionally, our sugarcane-derived Squalane is a sustainable alternative to the historical production method of squalene from shark liver. 3. WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 100% SQUALANE OIL AND SQUALANE + VITAMIN C ROSE OIL? DO I NEED BOTH?
While they both contain super hydrating Squalane, our Vitamin C Rose Oil also contains...(you guessed it!) Vitamin C and rose essential oil, making it suitable for facial use. Our 100% Squalane Oil can be used head-to-toe as an all-over body, face and hair hydrator.
Squalane Oil For Face: Rub a small amount of pure squalane oil together between hands to warm. Pat gently onto face, neck and décolleté.
Squalane Oil For Body: Massage a few pumps onto skin immediately after showering, paying close attention to areas needing extra hydration like arms, legs, and knees.
Squalane Oil For Hair: Rub a small amount of pure squalane oil between hands and smooth through dry or wet hair to add shine and tame flyaways, split ends and frizz.
TIPS:

Hate the packaging
I love this product so much! I use it everywhere, face, hair and body! However I hate the packaging, it squirts everywhere and so much of it gets wasted! Please please change the dispenser to something more appropriate for this type of liquid. Thank you

Perfection for the body
I absolutely love this squalane oil! I use it in place of body lotion, and it is perfect to keep my skin moisturized and supple. The key is to use a little and rub it into your skin while you're still in the shower. No scent and perfectly moisturized skin! Thank you Biossance for being vegan, cruelty-free, EWG-certified and pretty much perfect!

Thank goodness for free gift samples
I received this as a free gift with my order and love it. A little goes a long way. I use it on my face (doesn't feel oily) I use it in my hair pretty much everywhere. I will be ordering the full size when this one when is gone.

Best face oil!
I have tried several different VERY expensive luxury face oils (I'm talking well over $100 per bottle) but they have all been really disappointing. They all seem to just "sit on top" of my skin - they don't absorb at all. I love that the Biossance 100% squalane oil actually melts into my skin. And you can use it on your face, body, hair, etc. Great product!

I see and feel difference in my appearance
I’m 74, have always taken special care of my sensitive skin. Never used Botox or fillers or surgery! Even with the many serums and creams daily regiment, I began to see signs of change like dullness and fine lines and flaky skin. A friend whose skin is radiant told me about biossance’s squalane oil. I love it! It has made big change to healthy glow, erasing appearance of fine lines, creating beautifully smooth skin. My smile is even bigger! I 1st bought travel size to test it. Excellent for eczema
Just awesome. I have terrible eczema on my arms but I react to every cream I’ve tried! This stuff is great. Not too greasy, feels good almost everywhere else too; legs, hair, neck, sides of face... I don’t love it as a hand moisturizer- I need something heavier. Right now I’ve got the biossance hand cream & I really like that but it’s a small tube & I slather on the hand cream. It goes pretty far but I need a bigger bottle to last a while! The oil works great for cuticles in a pinch .
