Traditionally Squalane was harvested from shark liver, though our scientists spent years developing pure Squalane from 100% plant-based, renewable sugarcane. While they both contain super hydrating Squalane, our Vitamin C Rose Oil also contains...(you guessed it!) Vitamin C and rose essential oil, making it suitable for facial use. Our 100% Squalane Oil can be used head-to-toe as an all-over body, face and hair hydrator.
Squalane Oil For Face: Rub a small amount of pure squalane oil together between hands to warm. Pat gently onto face, neck and décolleté.
Squalane Oil For Body: Massage a few pumps onto skin immediately after showering, paying close attention to areas needing extra hydration like arms, legs, and knees.
Squalane Oil For Hair: Rub a small amount of pure squalane oil between hands and smooth through dry or wet hair to add shine and tame flyaways, split ends and frizz.

Life Changing
No joke I haven’t shut up about this stuff. I bought it because I am struggling with acne from wearing a mask all day. I have always struggled with super dry skin in the winter. Since using this the scabs from the acne have gone away. The red marks left behind are going away but the big huge amazing thing is all of the dry patches on my face, shoulders, arms, elbows, scalp have gone away. Like in 1 week using daily. Dry patches I have had for years and used everything you can imagine on have gone away! This oil is amazing. I will now use this product for life. I think people get scared to use oil. But when it absorbs, it absorbs better than a cream. It goes on oily because it’s oil. But within an hour my skin absorbs everything and is baby soft. It is truly unbelievable. Changes dryness in one use and only gets better the more you use. So happy to have found this product!!!

Lovely
This is my second bottle. I also tried the rose oil this time . Really like both. Makes my skin glow in my arms and legs after I put my moisturizer on , I top with this to lock in moisture. Makes a huge difference, soaks in so I’m not oily compared to coconut oil. Rep at Sephora mentioned spraying my perfume in my hand and mixing with the oil to rub on arms and pulse point- definitely a win!

Loving the 100% Squalane Oil!
I absolutely love this! I use this as an in-shower body moisturizer and rub a little into my skin right after my shower. It sinks in beautifully without needing to take time to allow it to absorb as it is instant. My forever body moisturizer!

Great product that leaks
I love this oil that feels wonderful on my skin. However the bottle leaks. There is always an oily rim around the bottom of the bottle no matter how hard I tighten the top.

Squalene
So far rave. My facial skin is so soft and hydrated. I feel like my fine lines and wrinkles are diminished. Have been doing Olay, L’Oréal, Neutrogena, Roc etc... for years, just because. This is the first time I truly believe I see an improvement!

Excellent moisturizer
I love it! I give it a try because I like oil to use it after or before my moisturizer and since I start use it, I saw a change in my skin. Now it's more hydrate, shiny and adsorber it really well I think is because of the quality of the product. The scent is really neutral.

Saving sharks and getting glowy skin
I have seborrheic dermatitis and mild rosacea so it can be pretty hard to incorporate new things into my skincare regimen that don't cause a reaction or acne. Biossance's 100% squalane oil seems to work well with my current regimen after layering it over a hyaluronic acid toner. I'm seeing better hydration and even a glow from my skin that I haven't seen in such a long time. P.S. the limited edition shark design is great!!
