Its a great cleanser, and makes my skin feel great. My only complaint would be the scent. It's not great. It actually smells old or spoiled.
Love this cleanser
I think this is a great cleanser, but it is different than most I have ever used so I think it got some time to get used to it. I think this is a great neutral cleanser that does not over strip, leave the face supple and does a great job at cleaning the face.
Takes all my make up off and doesn’t strip my skin. It does sort of drag a bit. Almost too thick? Would be nice if it had a little more “slip”. Once you add a bit of water it feels great, but the initial application makes me feel like I’m tugging on my skin a bit. Overall a fairly gentle cleanser that really does take off all my eye makeup in one step.
I have a weakness for berries in skincare, but I didn’t have high hopes for this cleanser. I got it to use for the first step in my double cleanse, and it’s been working perfectly. I use it exactly as directed, which, I’ve found, is key to getting any kind of results. I apply with dry hands, massage, then wet my hands and continue to massage. Done that way, I can feel my SPF, primer, or foundation, depending on what I’m wearing, break down and start to bead. I then follow with a liquid or foam cleanser. It leaves me feeling soft and moisturized, even if I can’t get to the rest of my routine immediately. I’ve tried rushing through and just using it as a regular cleanser, i.e. rubbing it on with wet hands and a quick rinse, but it just doesn’t work as well at breaking down any product present on the skin. The extra step is crucial to see any result, but when used as directed, I totally understand the fuss.
