Gentle enough for a new mom
I have the fussiest skin…second only to my infant. I gave her a rash on her face a few times from holding her, cheek to cheek, after I moisturized with other “clean gentle” moisturizers. But I can use this, kiss all over my baby, and her skin is fine and mine is protected and plump. Bless up

Been using this for two years and took the opportunity to stack up last November o this. Just opened and used it and I’m getting hives all over my front and back body and arms. I really loved this but greeting tired of the constant changes or products getting discontinued.

Perfect cream
It became my favorite cream! I'm in 30+ category, so it helps me get rid of fine lines and feel quite comfortable. My skin type is normal with oily T-zone. Maybe in harsh weather conditions like -15°C and strong wind I would consider something thicker. However, indoors and in mild weather it is so pleasant and moisturizes my skin very well. The smell is neutral. I highly recommend it.

Not the same
You might like this if you have normal to oily youthful skin. For people who have a damaged skin barrier and very dry sensitive skin, this aint it. The texture may look thick but its not very moisturizing and absorbs into nothing. For the price it should feel nice but also deeply moisturize and continue to improve the skin. I would search elsewhere. It was already light before I'm not sure why they would make it even more light lol.

Not Moisturizing Enough
I bought this product this fall and tried it during this dry and below-freezing winter here in GA. As a morning moisturizer, it is good enough. But it's definitely not moisturizing enough for my night routines. I would wake up as if I didn't put any moisturizer the night before. There are even a couple of times when my forehead area is really dry. I bought this cream cause it's supposed to target dry skin, but I don't think I'll buy it again. If you have a dry to very dry skin like me, the Ectoin Overnight Rescue is probably the better product to invest on.

Something has changed ….
I first bought this last spring and I thought it would be too rich but it wasn’t at all. In fact, after regular use my skin was dewy and glowing and always felt moisturized. Yes it was smelly - but some actives are smelly. (Clearly some reviewers need to be educated on that fact). I was thankful for the amazing results and that Biossance preferred actives that worked over masking fragrances and less “smell”. It was clear from all the reviews that people loved it. AND IT WORKED. My sensitive acne prone 55 year old skin was heavenly. Fast forward to fall of last year. I bought some more on a sale and started using it when I ran out of my first purchase. Immediately when I opened it, there was no smell. NO SMELL. That was odd. Then I started using it and no dewy glow, no moisture that lasted. I used twice as much as before and still no better. I had some leftover from the first batch that I had put in a travel container. I used it and immediately could tell the difference. Used it for several days and amazing skin. Started using the latest purchase again and my skin is just so flat. AND I started getting acne after months of clear and beautiful skin. In my experience the product seems no better than CeraVe drugstore brand. What in the world has happened to this product??? It is clear that something has changed because the smell is gone. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE revert to the old formulation. It took me years to find a rich moisturizer that didn’t give me acne and stopped my sensitive skin issues. The smell is worth it!

Please do not add fragrance
I use Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer during the summer and Biossance Omega and Squalene cream during the colder months. Perfect for sensitive and dry skin, especially those sensitive to additives like perfume/artificial fragrance. I see a lot of reviews complaining of the smell, but I hope Biossance doesn’t change the formula or at least offer those a scented version separately from this one cuz it’s absolutely perfect. A product like this is so hard to find in the market - something that just provides simple rich moisturization.

Perfect winter moisturizer
Ok first off, I have a very sensitive nose and have absolutely no idea why there’s so many reviews saying this cream stinks. It barely smells like anything at all and what smell it does have smells natural and light, like the smell of shea butter. I’ll take that over some chemical laden perfume grossness any day! The cream feels thick but goes on so light and keeps my sensitive, rosacea type skin happy and moisturized. Highly recommend
